Art of the Title

Art of the Title

This website was a great source of information on how title sequences are put together. The website was graphically well laid out and consisted of great illustrations. It gives us information on how each title sequence was made- (all the people who made the title sequence give their own comments of how they conducted the music, animated movements and many more).

Star Wars
A very unique title sequences that  interest me is the title sequence from star wars. This unique as the moving text slides upwards different from any other film. It can represent how slow time everything moves up in space as thats where the film is supposed to be set. The font is clear and easy to read. It is big bold and moves slow. This so the audience can pay attention to the opening lines.

The next title sequence is from the movie spectre. This is a James bond movie which could indicate it ould taker factors from other bond title sequences. This could be things such as the calm soothing music the accompanies the title sequence. There is many attempts to evoke motion out of the audience through props and fire. The titles have a fixation on octopuses which could be a metaphor for a clue in the storyline of the movie.
