The way our thriller holds the audience is that we keep the action in the thriller constant from the McGuffin to the chase scene right till the end of the movie. The end scene was cut which left the audience on the edge of their seats. No information about the characters is given away so it leaves the audiences asking questions.
At the end of our film we had a cliffhanger. This in itself was a great way for the audience to come watch our movie as the end generates a lot of questions. Like why would Altin do that. At the end there was a gunshot to scare/excite the audience. It also could tell the audience that Arbaaz got shot without it being on the screen.
We attract our audience through age. Our actors of our thriller are of the same age range of our target audience. They can relate to their emotions more. It adds to the stereo type that young people are mischievous. These kind of thrillers attract audience as the same type of actors from Kidulthood made a successful movie.
All the continuous actions keeps the audience attracted to the thriller. It leaves them on the edge of their seat. If we was to release a trailer we would include upbeat grime music with the action scenes
